About

Eline Van Ree

Eline van Ree is a Belgian emerging designer who studied at the Royal Academy of Fashion in Antwerp.  She started her label in March 2015 in Barcelona, the city she fell in love with during her travels. Eline lived and worked in Barcelona for 5 years. Nowadays she travels between Belgium and Barcelona.

The collections are inspired by artists: the first collection ‘Mathilda’ was inspired by the Polish painter Balthus, the second and current collection ‘Twiggy’ by Picasso. Both Painters had their particular way to paint women. The minimal – graphical & bright designs, hand-created prints and lush fabrics are those elements that mark Eline van Ree’s unique style as a designer.

The EVR collections are designed for the modern multi-tasking woman. Van Ree want to make them feel beautiful, comfortable and harmonious as a contrast to the busy city life.

All the garments are produced in Spain in small family manufactories so the designer can search for the best production solution. The prints are hand-printed in a small artist studio that applies screen-printing technique and water-based dyes.
